It is your choice! The map displays the route of our full day cruise. You can elect a four hour cruise if you prefer.
Each cruise leaves Swan Town Marina in the morning with resident environmental scientist Matt Fisher Ph.D. and Captain Rick Kramer.
Full Day Cruise Information
The full day cruise travels 15 miles out Budd Inlet, past Boston Harbor, through Dana Passage and Johnson Point, on to the Nisqually Flats. On our way, Dr. Fisher will introduce guests to the geologic history of the area and provide a few examples of the ecological interdependencies among marine mammals, salmon, water quality, and man. We will anchor outside the tidal flats and dinghy ashore for a fun educational experience at the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. Guests will leave with a packet containing the information shared.
The cost of the full day cruise is $995 plus tax, and up to 6 passengers may enjoy the voyage. Morning snacks and lunch are provided.
Four Hour Cruise Information
The four hour cruise also travels 8 miles out Budd Inlet, past Boston Harbor, into Dana Passage. On our way, Dr. Fisher will introduce guests to the geologic history of the area and provide a few examples of the ecological interdependencies among marine mammals, salmon, water quality and man. Guests will enjoy the beauty of the south sound with this added educational offering without anchoring or going ashore. There will be plenty of time for questions.
The cost for the 4 hour cruise is $595.00 plus tax, and up to 6 passengers may enjoy the voyage.. Snacks are provided.
